Mr Kassapian is currently the Deputy Head Teacher of St Joan of Arc School in Rickmansworth, he succeeds Mr Andrew Graham who will be retiring at the end of the Summer Term.
We asked Mr Kassapian to share with us some of his background, and this is what he said.
I would like to introduce myself as the newly appointed Head teacher of the Salvatorian College from September 2012.
I was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and educated at Ampleforth by the Benedictine Community. I attended Warwick University and qualified as a teacher of Religious Education.
During my professional career, I have worked in Catholic Schools in Nottingham, Hillingdon and most recently at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic School, Hertfordshire.
I live in Watford and I am married with three children. My parish is the Sacred Heart, Bushey.
My role as Head teacher is one of service to the pupils, parents, staff, governors and the wider Salvatorian and Catholic Community.
I am committed to ensuring the highest academic standards of achievement for all pupils at the College and enabling each individual to achieve their full potential. In addition, I am passionate about the preparation our next generation of young Catholics, to be life-long learners, leaders and role model global citizens of the future.
I look forward to working with you in the future.
Paul Kassapian
